Celebrates National Arts Month

– February is declared as National Arts Month. The Bureau on Cultural Heritage conducted
various cultural activities throughout the component provinces of the region.
Aiming to promote the Bangsamoro culture and instill awareness for cultural preservation.
The month – long celebration was highlighted through
Lakbay Kultura, Quiz Kultura, Kulturang Laro, Pinta Kultura, Tenun Weaving
Training, Pis Syabit Training by
Executive Director Ardan D. Sali along with Community Affairs Officers of the Bureau.
They were able to simultaneously conduct programs and activities in the ARMM
provinces rendering services to target participants for better understanding
and appreciation of their own culture and other tribes as well as in line with
the Bureau’s mandates, office program benefitted more than a total of 2000
school children, OSY, mothers and IPs throughout the region within the month of
February.
